sorry to disturb all the others not living in or near California :-)
I just booked a flight to Los Angeles, California, and I will be 
flying tomorrow.

So, if someone likes to meet a German NetBSD-Dude, please reply
in private Email ASAP :-) I will stay for three weeks until the
23rd of October. I have hired a car and will probably be driving
around in California or the states next to it. I am definitely 
going to San Francisco. Anything else can be arranged on the
phone once I am in LA.
