I saw this on another UN*X variant, but now I can't place where:
How's about the ability to open() a UNIX domain socket that is in the
filesystem for listening? That is, an open() operation on that socket would
open a two way stream socket that could be handled partly like a file
(without seek, etc. ability). This seems at first glance like a trivial
addition, but I'd like opinions on it before I try to figure out the _how_.
