Once the merge happens, the kohl patches will basically no longer
work.  So we want to make sure that we're not removing any substantial
functionality.  The major sticking point now is that the kohl code
does some power management, and the marc-pcmcia branch doesn't.  This
is currently blocked on my recent move; I haven't found the relevant
data book yet.  Once I do, it will take me a few days to code and test
basic power management.  Then, we'll *probably* be ready for a merge
to the mainline.
