If the former, they would have been pulled before. Having them in my
bookcase, I never noticed any AT&T proprietariness in them.

If the latter, that is no excuse. How am I going to refer people to "An
Introduction to Display Editing with Vi", "Ex Reference Manual", etc.,
if they ask me stupid vi questions?
