Our Experience:-

1.2Beta and 1.2.1: Never seen a hang - uptimes usually 2-3 months very
heavy NFS activity during that time.

1.2G: With same setup - (all disks NFS except / and swap) always hangs
after syncing disks message even if shutdown immediately after booting.
