The tunneling trick at least doesn't used simulate a network structure
which doesn't exist. And if you read my original mail you'll see that
I don't consider this solution to be good. That's why I'm asking for
the possibility to use ethnernet interfaces in *real* point to point
mode, and I mean point to point not a /30 network which is still
broadcasting mode.
