I had thought that Netatalk would have patched in NetBSD stuff, but I just
   got the latest beta and didn't see NetBSD in there.. didn't compile
   either. ;<


it worked for me last night:  i built a (2-week old -current) kernel
with netatalk support, which worked without a problem (as expected).
i ftp'ed the patched for netbsd netatalk 1.4beta2 distribution from
toccata.fugue.com and it built out-of-box for me.  what sort of
problems were you seeing?
