Hello.  In running the 1.2G sources as of the August 3 tar files, I
notice that the kernel memory statistics are off by default.  My questions
are as follows:

1.  Can I turn these on with just the optionn KMEMSTATS in the
configuration file?

2.  Is the task of keeping track iof kernel memory statistics enough to
cause a noticeable drain on the system?  In other words, what was the
justification for turning these off?  Just curious.
