Just to provide more info (had to crash several time, as the system
reboots to fast to write all down in one strike...):

after `cat never.au > /dev/audio` I get:

fatal integer devision in supervisor mode
trap type 8 code 0 eip f8104f31 cd 8 eflags 10282 cr 2 40488 cpl 0
panic trap
dump to dev 1 offset 38528
dump    wddump: recall failed
i/o error

I am using the atapi patches - maybe thats why dump is broken?
