We're definately moving in that direction, though...

Neither do I, but so what? Just add it. If someone tries it and it
doesn't work, they're no worse off than if it didn't exist at all. Plus,
then we learn that it doesn't work. And if it does actually work, they
can do something that that couldn't otherwise.

ext2fs as an LKM would also be nice, and should be pretty easy to add. I
tried building it, but it woulnd't load correctly (but then, nothing
else would either -- a kernel/userland mismatch, I think. No time to
play right now... Also, I noticed one of the ext2fs man pages (forget
which one and can't check at the moment) refers to ffs in several places.)
