It was sounding fairly certain that it would be out by now, but since
it isn't can somebody just tell me whether it is close enough that it
would be a better to wait than to install the older snapshot?

The situation is that I brought my PC from home so I can do a network
install.  If I wait for the new snapshot, I don't have my PC, if I
install the older snapshot, and the new one immediately comes out, I
will be forced [;-)], to immediately drag it back in again to upgrade.
