No, it isn't about copyright.  Copyright is obviously owned by the
author who has written the software, or to whom the author(s) assigns
the copyright.  No further questions.

This is about license terms.  I'm surprised that some people are still
mixing the two even though Chris clearly stated the distinction
between them.
