I'm currently doing something similar to this for our Ultrix and
Solaris boxes. It has involved mostly grabbing code from NetBSD, with
a few small tweaks to gcc (for the __progname stuff, and to load an
extra library (-lnetbsd) before -lc). Is there any interest in making
available a general "NetBSD build environment" for other systems?
