I'd like to take this time to apologize for any offense I may have
created.  It certainly wasn't my intention.  My attempt at humor was a
little heavy handed and upset people that I respect and admire.

I would certainly never suggest that anyone get divorced over something
of this nature.  I'm happily married and have been for over 15 years.  
I would never provide or accept counsel that led to the dissolution of a
marriage.

So, please accept my apology.
