On another note:
I've always wanted to see an html postprocessor for groff - never looked into
it much though.

 ->>> groff -Thtml -mandoc man.1 > man-1.html
 ->>> groff -Thtml -me src/usr.sbin/sendmail/doc/op/op.me > sendmailop.html

You'd still have to postprocess the html to generate specific man page xrefs
and other neat hyperlinks though.

Has anyone else ever considered this?
