Your ATAPI stuff worked just fine, except for one thing:
device #25 is also used by the PCMCIA driver (which I also install),
maybe you could pick another (or v.v.)?

In general, wouldn't it be a good idea to reserve the device numbers
in -current for the most common add-on devices?  This would make it
simpler for those of us that use several.
