Subject: sendmail not accepting mail?

I have a -current machine which doesn't accept mail.  If I telnet to it,
I can send mail; however, if I use mail on a 1.2 machine to mail to it, the
mail bounces.  (Rather, it goes to the next most preferred machine, which
turns out not to be what I want.)

Any suggestions?  Ideas on how to debug this effectively?
