You need to rebuild usr.bin/make, and install it. The "Q"
modifier was added to make's variable substitution rules recently.
Q Quotes every shell meta-character in the variable, so
that it can be passed safely through recursive invo-
cations of [make].
I assume the missing "make" in the sentence above is a glitch? Or
is it that I'm running old tmac macros? I haven't actually installed the
system I built yet, just following the sources.
