current-users: /etc/security script leaves zero files in /etc/mtree

Hello!

I noticed that the /etc/security script from NetBSD-current (13.01.1997)
leaves zero files in /etc/mtree like:

-rw-------  1 root  wheel      0 Jan 11 02:33 secure6.14678
-rw-------  1 root  wheel      0 Jan 10 02:33 secure6.15164
-rw-------  1 root  wheel      0 Jan 12 02:33 secure6.17256

So here is my question:
Is this wanted, or shouldn't they go into a TMPDIR and probably removed
after the script is done?
