Along the same subject, is anybody working on adding support for MIDI I/O
or FM synthesis?  A program I'm designing could benefit greatly from
Creative Labs' AWE32 capabilities, and existing software such as Netscape
Navigator which already use it on the Windoze platform could have more
consistent unix ports.
