My problem is that when I specify a gateway of 192.129.84.4, a host on
my local ethernet, it routes through 192.129.84.4 on pppN, whree
pppN is the most recently configured PPP interface.  Always.
Unless pppN was netmask'd to 255.255.255.255 in ip-up.

And no, I'm not using defaultroute.  :)
