Ya I got this also pre 1.2... Jason Thorpe knows about it and passed it to 
someone else (who knows more about mail?) but my mailbox there still isn't 
fixed...  

it happened to me when I got disconnected while reading mail...  is it the same
with you?...  how did it happen?
