I have been reading reports of NetBSD running twice as fast as SunOS (for
example) on the same hardware.  I installed X11R6 on my SS1+ (I built X
myself) and run Netscape 3.0 on it.  Somehow, everything feels _much_
slower than under SunOS - even though I have 32 MB of RAM now (was running
with 16 MB under SunOS).

Maybe I have done something stupid to make the system feel so slow?  Any
ideas (other than getting a P6/200 ;-) ?
