Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but...

Why is it that modload is located in /sbin, yet the supplied lkm's are
all located in /usr/lkm? It seems to me that if modload is in /sbin,
someone must have realized that non-root files systems, like /usr, might
not yet be available. Yet the supplied lkm's are, for the most part,
file systems code which might well be needed before being able to mount
/usr!

Perhaps there should really be two places to put lkm's, /lkm in addition
to /usr/lkm?
