1.2 is pretty stable on my Sparc, too - it only has two users.  However,
on the systems with 60-70 users, I'm having these crashes every 3 weeks or
so (I never reboot these systems unless they crash).

Well, I can build new kernels, but I doubt that would help.  The problem
seems to be the same in 1.2 and 1.1-current.
