I'm having the following error I don't quite understand:

root@image4# arp -s endeavor.ansci 00:c0:df:47:ba:a6 pub
cannot intuit interface index and type for endeavor.ansci

Any idea why I'm getting the arp error?

In the past I've used a local arp entry and a route back to campus to allow
my home machines to see machines on the campus side (they're all on the same
class C subnet). TIA for advice on this one.
