Define what you mean by "weird" :-)

If you just want to use the entire ccd, and you have an i386, the "d" 
partition will work just fine:

antie (thorpej) ~ 369% df /work
Filesystem  1024-blocks     Used    Avail Capacity  Mounted on
/dev/ccd0d      1702701   794128   823437    49%    /work
antie (thorpej) ~ 370%
