This looks like a compiler bug avoidance measure, and should probably
be eliminated.
nah, it would make future merges harder for little gain.
Do the sparc and sun3 ports even define "sun" anymore?
i don't think they *ever* did. currently, i see this:
#define __NetBSD__ 1
#define __KPRINTF_ATTRIBUTE__ 1
#define __sparc 1
#define __GNUC_MINOR__ 7
#define sparc 1
#define __unix 1
#define __unix__ 1
#define __GNUC__ 2
#define __sparc__ 1
#define unix 1
NetBSD splode.eterna.com.au 1.2A NetBSD 1.2A (_splode_) #330: Tue Sep 17 03:50:26 EST 1996 mrg@splode.eterna.com.au:/orb/q/build/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/_splode_ sparc
the `sparc' and `unix' things are supposedly going away after 1.1. :)
