I think the problem is that people don't want to _break_ drivers that are
_already_ being used on several different architectures just to fix one
particular architecture, especially given that there are several
architectures that NetBSD supports that have this problem.

It has _nothing_ to do with people just not wanting others to be able to
use their extra memory, and very little to do with wanting MI code for the
sake of MI coke.
