My netbsd machine complains:

Since this appeared, the routing to 149.232.248.8 through the alias interface 
doesn't work anymore, though if 149.232.248.8 announces a prox-arp for 
149.232.248.1, routing to this announced hop works, even though the 
intermediate router can not be seen.  This is somewhat disgusting, since I do 
not like the fact that normally routing over .8 is routing for 4 Class B Nets, 
and routing to these nets works only if the target IP is proxy-arped on the 
local ethernet...
