Hi all,

We run amd (upl-102 from lol.cs.columbia.edu) on all our DEC OSF/1 systems
with a 500+ lines of automount map file.

I was delighted that NedBSD pre built amd just took this automount map
file without any problems.

Following the recent post by Manuel Bouyer I installed his atapi CDROM
driver on our NetBSD machines - this works well - many thanks.

I then wanted to get the CDROM drives under control of amd (so users
can just put cd into the drive and access them as on our DEC OSF/1
systems). The first step was to install upl-102 that has CDROM
support. This built on NetBSD without problem but will not run - here
is a portion of the log file showing the error.

I have tried without success to see the difference between the NetBSD
source tree amd and upl102 - I feel that I am beginning to get out of
my depth. Has anyone been here before - or know the answer?

In the NetBSD amd source I see there are a number of
#if NFS_PROTOCOL_VERSION >= 3

Does this imply that it should mount remote filesystems using NFSV3 ?
It appears to mount OSF/1 filesystems using NFSV2 - is this the correct?

Very many thanks for any help.
