 I ported it to NetBSD some months ago. Freezing/thawing of the scsi bus 
are the FreeBSD-specific things that must be disabled in the source, 
which presents no major problems. Otherwise you just need libscsi. 
'course I didn't get the arbitrary commands working for some reason.
