I have an ASUS P55SP4 MB (SiS 551X chipset) and that works fine.  From
what I have seen in some benchmarking (actually timing one of the doom
demos) the ASUS boards seem to score very well in terms of performance
against the other boards tested - if you are interested in the timings
then have a look on <http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/misc/doombench.html>.

  From what I have heard Intel make pretty mediocre motherboards.....
