I noticed that there's now drivers for SCSI scanners (it's probably been 
there a while, bit my eye-sight isn't what it used to be), and appears to 
only support HP and Mustek scanners.

My question:  what is required to support other scanner types?  I'm stuck 
with one from Mirror (actually, it's a UMAX 630) which I'd like to get 
working under NetBSD.

Any hints, etc. appreciated.
