current-users: nis setup

Hello,

I had tried to configure the nis for the netbsd-current with following
steps:-

  1. Add "+::::::" to passwd
  2. mkdir /var/yp
  3. setup defaultdomain at /etc
  
and reboot system. The system hang at ypbind. 

Does anyone tell me how to debug and get the nis work.  Thanks.
