	It is also amusing to see my 486DLC/40 (a 486 in 386's clothing) 8M
compile much faster withOUT -pipe than with .. the 486DLC isn't a particularly
wonderful chip, and it seems to suffer a lot a lot from context switching.

	I'd guess that -pipe is only really noticably faster on machines
where the processor is really fast and the disk is really slow.
