I know that I won't make friends saying this, but I agree with all the
folks arguing that we should get rid of the __P() stuff. For my part,
I think it makes everything much uglier looking, and although I
understand the desire to run with non-ANSI compilers, I think that
unproto and similar programs take care of that very easily in the rare
cases where it is needed. Let the pre-ANSI stuff die already.
