I'm running successfully on an IBM Thinkpad. I'm quite happy with it,
but getting PCMCIA to work took some hacking (thanks to John Kohl and
Bill Sommerfeld for help with that). I understand that Ethernet/Modem
combo cards have some trouble, but the ethernet card I'm using is
working just fine.

My main bitch is that I wish the semi-functional PCMCIA support and
APM support were integrated into the tree. They don't work perfectly,
but if they were in the tree people would be hacking on them and there
wouldn't be the constant effort to re-port what already works...
