Hello!

Since the new sendmail version is introduced into the current source tree
I have the following lines in /var/log/messages each time the daily
security script is running:

Jan 26 02:00:49 cybersil sendmail[382]: My unqualified host name (cybersil) unknown; sleeping for retry
Jan 26 02:01:50 cybersil sendmail[382]: unable to qualify my own domain name (cybersil) -- using short name
Jan 26 02:06:13 cybersil sendmail[1590]: My unqualified host name (cybersil) unknown; sleeping for retry
Jan 26 02:07:13 cybersil sendmail[1590]: unable to qualify my own domain name (cybersil) -- using short name
Jan 26 02:07:16 cybersil sendmail[1594]: My unqualified host name (cybersil) unknown; sleeping for retry
Jan 26 02:08:16 cybersil sendmail[1594]: unable to qualify my own domain name (cybersil) -- using short name

This is on a HP 9000-400T running NetBSD current. I have alos an Amiga 3000
with current where this problem does not appear. I did not get such
messages before the new sendmail was introduced.

Anyone know how to track down the problem?

Thanx for any help in advance!

Greets
     Thorsten
