Apart from panicing in dead_badop(), pppd on zen (i486) running Jan-27
-current, would spit out the above ConfReq and ConfAck, but the magic
numbers never matched between the Req and the Ack. So it would fail
with the same

	LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests

The same pppd appeared to work when run against zen while it was still
running Aug-18 -current, but reliably fails when talking to the annex
box at my ISP. Needless to say, zen is off the air at present.
