When building gcc-2.7.2 for the first time on your system, you must build 
until libgcc fails, then `make install' in the `cc', `cc1', and `cpp' 
subdirectories.  Then finish building libgcc.  NOTE: you won't be able to 
build anything else in this window!  Once libgcc is finished building, 
immediately `make install' in the `libgcc' directory...libgcc is the last 
bit in the gcc build process, do you can then finish building the rest of 
the `gnu' sources.
