Please write some! I would be very happy to add it in.

I'm not sure documentation on the innards of individual drivers is
needed, but I'll happily add some if it looks like it would give
people help in reading the drivers when using them as models on which
to write other such drivers. We can create architecture specific
subsection of section 9, after the model of other sections, if we need
to.

I would very much like, however, a man page giving an overview of how
drivers work in general -- such a thing would be a Big Win if it was
written properly.
