I recently upgraded my "Gateway" to a IIsi, enjoying Bill's serial speed.
(80Mb Apple disk, MacOS mkfs, installer v1, Steve's binaries &
GENERIC#45..oops..46 kernel)

Upon boot it asks me to type a drive id, namely sd%d

Nov 24 22:26:10 gateway /netbsd:floppy0 at mainbus0 not configured
Nov 24 22:26:10 gateway /netbsd:root device? bad/missing unit number

                                            ^there it's asked

Nov 24 22:26:10 gateway /netbsd:Trying root on sd0

It's working pretty OK, but looses the ppp-connection sometimes.
Then i'd like to let it reboot by itself..no sd%d question to respond to.

I've looked through the mailing list archive with keyword sd%d, sd0d.
Don't know where to look in the man.?
Can/will someone help me with this??
(i'm still a nixbie on a lot of topics, such as this)

ThanX,
~n
