Certainly ... For the sake of example, let's pretend you have a disk on 
your Adaptec 1742 at target 0 you wanted to be sd3 and a disk at target 2 
on an NCR53c810 that you wanted to be sd0:

ahb0		at isa0 ...
scsibus0	at ahb0

ncr0		at pci0 ...
scsibus1	at ncr0

sd0		at scsibus1 targ 2 lun 0
sd3		at scsibus0 targ 0 lun 0

...etc...
