So delete the {last,when}.* files.

I don't know why this would be happening, but it sounds as if you have
a workaround.  Deleting these files (do a thorough make cleandir
before supping though) will just make your sup time a little longer,
as it compares checksums for all the files.  If it's been some time
since you last supped, I'd recommend this anyway.
