Is anyone successfully using an Exabyte 8200 8mm tape drive with *any*
flavor of NetBSD? I ask, because I've encountered a similar problem on two
different platforms.

The problem: after a short (up to 1 or 2 MB tops) amount of transfer, the
entire machine hangs. The platforms:

PC running NetBSD 1.0, 20M RAM
Adaptec 1522 SCSI host adapter
Fujitsu 1.4M SCSI disk
540M IDE disk (sorry don't have more info on this system)

Sun SPARC 2, 32M RAM
running NetBSD-current from Jul 10 snapshot, SD3 kernel
2 Seagate drives
CG3 video

The tape works fine on the above SPARC under SunOS 4.1.3.

Any ideas?
