Is there a way to tell what version of -current a machine is running?
(either minor version # or some bogus string searchs)

(Most notably I need to be able to detect old -current, -current after
LKM changes, and I guess post 8/20 -current (I need to be able to figure
out which version of afs to use from a script...))

P.S. I heard there were plans for a clean-ish snapshot early sept.-ish.
Is it still on track?
