Can someone point me into the current-users archive about the difference
between, or help me in solving:

Till now i've been testing trough the ppp-server, not on the server.
Now that i realised that imm. did some ftp-ing around, these are the figures:

- PPP-server-->client: 650-300bytes/sec.
- FTP-server-->PPP-server-->client: 60-30bytes/sec.

So the problem ain't the serial driver! It's something behind it, routed?
Something it interfaces with?
I'm back inspecting my settings again, suggestions welcome.

Or could this still be a hardware handshaking (configuring) problem?

i also did a ftp from ether to ether:
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for 'libm.so.0.1' (102287 bytes).
226 Transfer complete.
102287 bytes received in 0.802 seconds (127583 bytes/s)
And an FTP from current-ppp-link with net-->macos +/- 350-250bytes/second
