I'm trying to make a new world from 1.0a to -current 8/12.

I've followed the instructions up to:

Build a newer .h file set, ldconfig, and lib set.
(cd /usr/src/include ; make && make install)
That went OK.
(cp -p /usr/libexec/ld.so /usr/libexec/ld.so.good)
That went OK.
(cd /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld ; make & make install && make cleandir)
This is where I got the error:
        ld: scrt0.o: no such file or directory

and it stopped.
