I just downloaded bsddip-1.01.tar.Z from ftp.rz.tu-clausthal.de

I have not tried it yet.  There is one problem I had, which was that
the link to that machine from here in Boston was ___SLOW___ (about 30
minutes for a 76 kbyte file!) and unreliable, I had to try 4 times to
get it through ok.  If anyone could suggest an ftp site in the US to
upload it to, I would be happy to do so, though I probably should get
the authors permission first.
